Authorstream

          
          It is a very good choice for sharing presentations online. AuthorStream not only allows you to import your PowerPoint presentations online and create a user community around each one, now you can export those presentations to YouTube, making them available as video.

WEEK 11

Podcasts

       This is the distribution of multimedia files (usually audio or video, which can include text and captions and notes) by a system of syndication allowing subscription and use a program that is downloaded to the user can listen at the time want. You do not need a subscription to download.

WEEK 10

Google Maps

      
        It is the name of a Google service. Is a mapping application server on the Web. It offers movable maps and satellite photos of the world and even the route between different locations or at street level images.

        The network can send plain text messages of short length, with a maximum of 140 characters called tweets, which are displayed in the user's home page. Users can subscribe to the tweets of other users - this is called "forward" and subscribers are called "followers."

WEEK 8

Web 2.0

      It is associated with web applications that facilitate information sharing and collaboration on the World Wide Web. A Web 2.0 site allows users to interact and work together as creators of user generated content in a virtual community; as opposed to websites where users are limited to passive observation of the content has been created for them.

WEEK 7

          The last Tuesday we learn how to create a good Power Point Presentations. These presentations must show overall visual appeal, grammar, punctuation and spelling without errors, and finally effects and transitions. In the overall visual appeal, students should include graphic elements in an appropriate form. Also, the readability of the Slides should be consistent and clear with the information. Moreover, all images must move properly in relationship to the text. On the other hand, we have to create Power Point Presentations related to the four English Skills that are listening, speaking, writing, and reading. To do that, we need to investigate the methodological process used to teach the receptive skills. For this reason, we learned how to create PPT and we must sure not to include so many effects, colors or pictures which make our work look unprofessional.

WEEK 6

         On Tuesday we received an interesting seminary about Effective Use of Technology in the EFL Classroom. In this class we learned the Internet is a teaching and learning tool. Also, we can interact outside the class; find authentic materials, teaching resources, different ways of learning like audio and video, and research tools. Moreover, there are some useful web pages like Noodle Tools, Blogs, Nicenet, and so on. For example, Noodle Tools allows create and organize your notes or receive comments. Additionally, Blogs are sites in when we can express our opinions on line. Another page is Nicenet Internet Classroom Assistant that permit you create as many classes as you want and it is easy to use. In conclusion, we will apply this new information in our students because in this moment our world is more technologic.
